The Yard Flood

Our yard is flooded. I went out and played in it. It is about two feet deep! I almost fell in! I looked for frogs, but there weren't any. I learned that ants grouped together on a blade of grass when it floods.

  1. What a good story Ethan. It's exciting to me to see you writing. I hope you develop a passion for it like I have. You clearly have seen a lot more rain than we have in Upper Sandusky. Keep up the good work Ethan. I love you.

Hi, Ethan! I love your blog site! I hope you enjoy blogging as much as your mommy; she is so good with writing down her words and feelings. Today at Copper Harbor is a very grey, cool, windy day and we can see some whitecaps between Hunter's Point and Porter Island. We are looking forward to seeing you, Elijah, and Caleb soon! You sure do have a lot of water in the yard. Keep your socks dry! Love, Gramma
P.S. I am almost done reading Hardy Boys #5, Hunting for Hidden Gold. Are you still reading the Mandie books? Your mom sure liked them when she was your age.

  3. Hey Ethan, I love your blog page. You are such a SMART boy. Grams would have NO IDEA how to do a blog page. Are you enjoying the fall weather? We have had some really cool nights here. It is a nice change from the heat we are use to. Hugs and kisses. Love you, Grams
