My Trip to The Tower

****This is a personal narrative writing assignment for school about a field trip we took in November 2010****

My family went to the Foshay Tower with Grandma. We rode the elevator for about two minutes until we got to the top! The elevator had a lot of buttons in it. When I stepped out I was really and I felt nervous.

We learned that it was built by Wilbur B. Foshay and built in honor and in the shape of the Washington Monument. The tower has 32 levels. We went to the hotel, museum, and observation deck.

On the observation deck,we saw cool skyscrapers like one with a lot of windows and the new TWINS stadium. We also saw the IDS tower and some other really tall skyscrapers.

Then we decided to go home because it was cold. We went down the elevator and left. We had fun! Field trips are fun and educational. Go on one sometime!

Under The Sea

I went to Underwater World a few days ago. My Aunt Cathy came with us. I got to see Sharky & got my picture with him. I ate at Rainforest Cafe. Elijah was scared of the gorillas there. Elijah & I got animal balloons. We saw jellyfish with mirrors by them. I touched starfish & crabs. I saw sharks & stingrays. They're were fish that stood still.I saw turtles & sawfish. I touched a turtle. I had a great time!
